Day – 1
Arrival in Svolvær on Wednesday afternoon, with flights from Evenes or Helle Airport. The evening is spent getting to know the boat and the crew on board, and install everybody in they`re own cabin. Later in that evening we gather around the table for a small review of the plan for the next coming days, and then we all prepare the gear for the next day. Dinner this evening can be enjoyed in one of Svolvær’s better restaurants, just steps from the pier where M/S Ylajali is docked for the night.
Ski & sail the fjords and mountains of Lofoten

From March to May 2019 you can join M/S Ylajali on a truly unique ski and sail adventure! For five days we will explore the magical mountains of Lofoten all the way from sea level to the very top, accompanied by our local mountain guide and a fantastic crew on board . Tours for Groups are available for booking from March to May 2019. We hope to see you on board!
Day – 2
Breakfast from kl. 7:00 – 9:00. Then we set course for the mountains around the Austnesfjord. Where we will be aiming at a classic route for the day, before we throw the equipment in the rib and steer towards land. Along with the guide, we allways consider the final route selection for the day based on the weather and snow conditions. Once everyone is back on board after a nice day in the mountains, we set course towards Risvær, a group of small islands out in the Vestfjord. During the crossing there will be afterski on deck. Arriving in Risvær harbor Ylajalis own chef will serve tonight’s dinner.
Day - 3
Breakfast between 7:00 - 9:00. After breakfast we set sail towards the playground for the day, weather, snow conditions and wind decides. If the weather would be on our side, we aim to climb Geitgaljen, one of Lofoten's most spectacular peaks! Is the snow stable and nice, the rout offers a magical descent down in to the famous Troll Fjord. Where M/S Ylajali already is anchored up, ready with a hot meal on the deck for hungry skiers. In the evening we return to Risvær for afterski and dinner in the brewhouse.
Day - 4
Breakfast between 7:00 - 9:00. At same time we set sail towards Store Molla or Digermulen, depending on the local snow condition. Both places are famous for its jagged peaks and the magical descents. When the day is finally at an end, we will sail back towards Svolvær. When we arrive the Ylajali´s very own chef will serve a dinner on board, before it´s time to check out Svolvær by night. The rest of the evening hardly needs any further introduction.

Day - 5
The last day we aim for a small hike in the mountains around Svolvær. Blåtind will be a nice option if conditions are in place. Afterwords there will be time for a quick shower on board, before everyone is transported back to Evenes or Helle airport.
